Q: How will you ship my order?
A: We normally ship orders using the U.S. Post Office Priority Service. For faster delivery, you can request next day or second day air shipping for an additional charge. During online order checkout you will be provided with shipping options.
Q: When will my order ship?
A: Orders are processed Monday through Friday (8-5 E.S.T.). Orders for kits and items that are in stock are shipped within one business day (24 hours). Orders placed after noon on Friday will not be shipped until Monday. All orders are shipped from our
Florida warehouse. We take special care to expedite premium delivery service as quickly as possible.
Q: What will it cost to ship my order?
A: Bead Your Own Jewelry charges the actual shipping amount for the service you request. The charges are based on destination and weight, subject to the best discounts we can get from the shipping companies. Shipping charges will be displayed in your shopping cart after you choose your preferred shipping method during checkout. The following charts are a guideline for USPS rates.

Q: Is there any handling charge for shipping my order?
A: Bead Your Own Jewelry charges $1.75 processing charge for each order to help us offset the costs of packaging and shipping your order.
Q: Do you ship outside the
U.S.?
A: We presently do not fulfill orders outside of the
U.S. and
Puerto Rico. We plan on extending our delivery base very soon, so please check back (or provide your email address to get our newsletter) if you don't live in the
U.S.
Q: What if an item is backordered?
A: BYOJewelry.com's website features shows whether an item is currently in stock in the item page view. We will backorder items temporarily out of stock up to 30 days. We will notify you if your order will be delayed. If we partially ship what is in stock, the backordered items will not be charged any additional shipping.
Delivery Information
Q: When will my order be delivered?
A: The US Post Office says that priority mail shipments are received at most destinations within 2-3 days of shipping. The USPS does not guarantee Express Mail shipments, but says that "many destinations" are delivered next day by noon or 3:00 pm. FedEx guarantees their next day and 2-day delivery services, with exceptions for extremely bad weather or natural disasters. Don't forget that orders placed after noon on Friday aren't shipped until Monday.
Q: How can I check the status of my order?
A: You will receive a confirmation email when your order has been processed and shipped. You can also login to your account at BYOJewelry.com to check your order status.
Q: How can I check the delivery status?
A: Both the
US Post Office and FedEx provide tracking numbers to track your shipment. FedEx supplies much more detailed tracking information; the post office basically has pick up and delivery information. You will automatically be sent a tracking number the day after your order is shipped. Go to www.usps.com to track priority or express shipments or www.fedex.com to track their deliveries.
Q: Do I have to be present when an item is delivered?
A: Bead Your Own Jewelry does not require a signature at the time of delivery. It is up to the discretion of the shipping company to determine if the package can be left without a signature. If the shipping company requires a signature, they will leave a notice with delivery options and instructions. If you request certain premium shipping options (i.e., overnight or express delivery), remember that a signature is almost always required for delivery.
